Building participation in the arts
To encourage more metro Atlantans to participate in the arts, MAACC spearheads additional marketing and programming for arts organizations and their patrons: - With more than 16,000 opt-in members, Atlanta PlanIt’s bi-weekly e-newsletter and membership card program delivers arts enthusiasts event information, discount tickets, promotions and invitations to special opportunities- Free!
- Monthly Arts Marketing Roundtables hosted by MAACC provide arts organization representatives with a person-to-person forum to share best practices and discuss topics in arts marketing.
- Emerging Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta is a chapter of the Emerging Leaders Network, managed in the Southeast by the Southern Arts Federation. The program is designed to identify and cultivate the next generation of arts leaders in Metro Atlanta by providing them with networking, resource-sharing, and professional development opportunities . EALA specifically targets arts professionals who are under the age of 35 and/or have less than 5 years experience in the field.
- Mailing List Enhancement services provide nearly 50 non-profit arts organizations with a method to update and enhance their member lists with extensive demographic and geographic information. Each group’s information are then arranged on a uniform platform to facilitate list exchanges efficiently between organizations to reduce costs and improve communication efforts. - This program is currently suspended for 2008.
